Coir is the name given to the
fibrous material that constitutes the thick mesocarp (middle
layer) of the coconut fruit (cocos nucifera).
Traditionally, the short
fibres and dust left behind have accumulated as a waste
product for which no industrial use had been discovered.

The
raw materials we use for our production
are all natural and 100 % renewable.

It is a completely environmentally
friendly process. We offer our customers a
sustainable, environmentally friendly
alternative to
pollution generating, oil based products. Our manufacturing
plant which is located in the coconut triangle
of Sri Lanka is safe, modern and
does not use any child, or prison labour.

We compensate our employees with a wage that is at least one
third higher than comparable industries in the area.
This
assists all of our employees in raising their living
standards.
